Since 2010 I have watched what the solar industry has done to real estate transactions, and I work this specialized sector from three sides: real estate, mortgage and solar. My job is to make the parts of a deal nobody explained visible before they cost someone the closing.
My focus has never been on promoting outcomes, but on helping professionals understand what they are navigating so they can advise clients responsibly.
Professional Background
I am a New York licensed real estate salesperson and an approved instructor in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Connecticut, and I have served on the NYSAR board of directors. I am Director of Solar Property Solutions at Team Paley.
I have taught real estate professionals since 2015 and have been a licensed real estate instructor since 2017. In that time I have trained thousands of REALTORS® on how solar ownership, leases, and energy agreements affect listings, disclosures, and buyer decisions. I have written seven books, developed five CE courses, and created the Brokerage Survival Series™.
My work focuses on practical education grounded in real transactions, regulatory frameworks, and consumer protection standards.

Why This Work Exists
I began focusing on solar and real estate education after seeing how often transactions were disrupted, or compromised, by information gaps rather than intent.
Buyers, sellers, and agents were navigating long-term energy agreements, unfamiliar ownership structures, and regulatory complexity without clear, neutral guidance. The result was confusion, mistrust, and avoidable risk.
This work exists to slow those moments down: to replace assumptions with understanding, and pressure with clarity.
